A deferential question ending used with descriptions: are you well, are you the confident sort, are you good at parking. It sounds courteous and a little formal, so interviewers use it to open politely and captions use it for a mock-courtly effect, as in the greeting to the members. It is the same ending as 는지요, which attaches to action verbs instead.
