냐구요

'You're asking…?' / 'How on earth…!'

-냐구요 is the casual spelling of -냐고요 and repeats a question. Aimed outward, it picks up the question the audience is presumably asking: 지금 어디 가냐구요? 'wondering where I'm going?' Aimed at nobody in particular, it becomes an outburst — 이걸 어떻게 깎았냐구요 'how on earth did they carve this?!' The 요 keeps it polite; the 구 spelling keeps it chatty.
