래나

'I wonder…' / 'or so they say'

After a verb, -래나 wonders aloud without expecting an answer: 재밌을래나? 'will it even be fun, I wonder?' After a noun it does something different — it repeats a claim while distancing the speaker from it, like a shrugged 'or so they say': 한 900쪽이래나? 'nine hundred pages or something?' and 자기들 신에 대한 도전이래나? 'a challenge to their god, apparently.' Both uses are casual and slightly dismissive.
