Calling someone: name plus 야

Tacked onto a name ending in a vowel, it calls that person: Jinwoo, Chan Se. Alone it is a bare 'hey' to grab attention, which is how two of these lines open. It only works downwards or sideways — friends, juniors, children — never to someone older or a stranger, and a name ending in a consonant takes 아 instead. Watch for the lookalike: the plain 'is' ending is also 야, and several lines here are that instead, such as the one calling someone a scaredy-cat.
